Kanan Shah

Kanan is a master’s candidate at UCL for Master’s in Public Administration (School of Public Policy). Her experience as a Young India Fellow (2019) from Ashoka University shaped her interest in the field of development management. She finished her under-graduation in BBA (Hons) with a specialization in Finance from J.D.Birla Institute (Jadavpur University), Kolkata. She is currently heading her family business that provides strategic packaging solutions to their B2B clients in West Bengal. She has previously volunteered at MAD, Qrius and Earth5R. An intersection of her skills in business management with a degree in liberal arts enables her to understand the balance required between the corporate organizations and social institutions. She aspires to bring about a constructive change in the CSR policies and contribute to the field of social development.
