Harshavardhan Ganesan

I’m currently working as an Associate at the chambers of Parasaran and Associates. I was working with the Indian Practice Group of Kelley Drye and Warren LLP before this. I am also currently a Scholar in Practice at SpicyIP, an internationally recognized Intellectual Property Blog. I completed my Master's in Berkeley School of Law, with a specialization in Law and Technology. While at Berkeley, I took a variety of courses including Patent Law, Copyright Law, Trademark Law, Video Game Law, and Media and Entertainment Law among others. Since I have a slightly academic bent of mind, I also took 2 highly academic courses, Foundation principles of IP, and Art and Cultural Property Law. In furtherance of which, I wrote papers for each course, which have been published in various international journals, as alluded to below. Additionally, I was also awarded the Best Oralist of my class in the Legal Research and Writing course. Overall, I cherished the experience to learn from the best professors in the nation, as well as the best peers from around the world. My grades, of 'High Honors' also reflects my academic achievement this year. My cohorts know me as a highly creative lawyer who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach. I spend a lot of time understanding the law and the surrounding circumstance before suggesting ideas. I can(and often do) work well alone,but I’m at my best collaborating with others. Apart from my LLM from Berkeley, I have a BSL,LLB from ILS Law College, Pune, where I was awarded the prestigious Best Student Award.
