Top Universities to pursue your Masters In Computer Science

It is ironic that we start this article by stating that one shouldn’t obsess too much over “rankings” while applying to foreign universities. At Gradvine, we have always been strong advocates of finding the right “fit” at all times. Certain universities may be a better fit for you considering your career goals, research interests, financial considerations, or even location. However, the absence of rankings that can form a reliable starting point for research, especially for Indian students has compelled us to create this list. Most resources available today that rank American universities, don’t take into account factors that matter the most to Indian students. Jobs for foreign students, tuition fees, location, and return on investment are factors that make the difference at the end of the day. Finally, the brand plays a huge role in taking you places in the long term. While these factors are incredibly difficult to quantify, our vast mentor network of students/graduates from these wonderful universities has allowed us to compile this list. Finally, we are cognizant of the fact that this list (or any ranking list) is bound to ruffle feathers. You may agree or disagree with us and we respect that. This is not an attempt to promote or demean any university. It is only a genuine attempt to give you a base to begin your research. Also, the margins between some of these universities are so fine that pretty much everyone will have differing opinions. Hence, a university ranked 7 on this list may not be 100% better for you than one that is ranked 10. However, it will certainly be better than some universities placed way below. With that said, please find our opinion on how these universities should be ranked:
